Trump's team is reportedly expecting yet another indictment, this time in Georgia.

CNN reported Wednesday evening that sources close to Trump believe he will be indicted at least one more time, and that it will likely be in Georgia for his purported role in a scheme to overturn the election in 2020. Erin Burnett of OutFront on CNN announced the news on air.

"Law enforcement officials there are actually taking steps to prepare," Burnett said.

Burnett asked former federal special counsel at the Department of Defense Ryan Goodman if he agrees that Trump will be hit by yet another indictment, but this time stemming from the ongoing investigation in Georgia.

"Do you agree that that's the next?" she asked Goodman.

"Um, I agree that that's at least one of the next. In mid-- early to mid-August, it definitely appears as though he will be indicted in Fulton County, Georgia," he said. He noted that he also expects an indictment for Trump's role in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection.
