Donald Trump will not participate in November's GOP debate in Miami, making it the third consecutive time he's skipped a chance to share a stage with his 2024 opponents.

Now, a senior adviser to his campaign is calling on the Republican National Committee to cancel all future primary debates so the party can unite around Trump, the Miami Herald reported.

“The RNC should immediately put an end to any further primary debates so we can train our fire on Crooked Joe Biden and quit wasting time and money that could be going to evicting Biden from the White House,” Chris LaCivita said in a statement.

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

Trump skipped the latest debate held at the Reagan Library in Southern California on Wednesday. Instead, he went to Michigan to speak at a non-union auto parts company in the midst of an ongoing United Auto Workers strike.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis slammed Trump for skipping the debate, saying, “Donald Trump is missing in action. He should be on this stage tonight. He owes it to you to defend his record where they added $7.8 trillion to the debt.”
