The U.S. government's official White House account was mocked on Sunday for sharing a picture of President Donald Trump holding a red lightsaber.
In a post on the X social media platform, the White House marked "Star Wars Day" with an artificial intelligence-generated image of Trump.
"Happy May the 4th to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting so hard to to bring Sith Lords, Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, & well known MS-13 Gang Members, back into our Galaxy. You're not the Rebellion—you're the Empire," the post said. "May the 4th be with you."
Commenters immediately pointed out that villains in Star Wars films used red lightsabers.

"How do you not have one nerd on staff to tell you what color lightsaber is good and what color is bad???" The Sassiest Semite asked.
"Jesus you guys are so pathetic," podcast host Fred Wellman argued.
"Says a lot that the AI knew to give Trump a red lightsaber," Democrat Geordan Neinstein opined.
"What in the Kool-Aid guzzling cult is this?" activist Blue Georgia said.
