Fewer than two rows of people were left in Ankeny, Iowa on Monday when Donald Trump Jr. was more than two hours late for his own event.

Forbes reporter Sarah Müller posted a photo of the empty rows of chairs, explaining that at 2 p.m. the room was packed with people. Iowa caucus voters evidently didn't want to wait around, knowing that they had to prepare for the caucus event.

Müller explained that there were "weather complications" with Trump Jr.

Once he finally arrived, he did speak to the mini-audience, ranting that in the U.K., “they’ll throw you in jail for two years for misgendering someone," The Guardian's David Smith reported on the ground.

At one point, an audience member asked if he believed Trump was "anointed by God."

“That’s not for me to decide. There’s a higher power that decides that," the younger Trump said.

Another person asked if Trump Jr. might run for president himself in 2028.

"I don’t want to say no," he began.
