'What is wrong with journalism?' MAGA doc slams reporters for believing Trump's MRI claim

Pro-MAGA podcaster Dr. Drew Pinsky lashed out at reporters for believing President Donald Trump's claim that he had an MRI procedure instead of being tested by CT scan equipment.

After months of claiming he had an MRI, Trump recently clarified to The Wall Street Journal that he had a CT scan instead.

"I got an MRI. It was perfect," Trump said in October. "I mean, I gave you the full results. We had an MRI and the machine, you know, the whole thing, and it was perfect."

"It wasn't an MRI," he later told the Journal. "It was less than that. It was a scan."

Pinsky, however, blamed reporters for believing the president's initial claims.

"He did not have an MRI. He did not have a CAT scan. He had a coronary calcium score, which is done with a CAT scan machine," Pinsky said during his Friday broadcast. "They're so effing ignorant! They don't know how to ask the right questions!"

"And they're making a meal out of skin thinness from sun and leg edema from aging! For God's sakes, what is wrong with journalism?" he exclaimed.
