
Billionaire Elon Musk, a supporter of Donald Trump, reportedly did not attend a court hearing involving his $1 million daily giveaway to registered voters.
Reuters reported that Musk was at risk of being held in contempt of court after he refused to attend the hearing.
Philadelphia's top prosecutor, Larry Krasner, accused Musk of conducting an illegal lottery after he offered daily $1 million giveaways to registered voters who signed his pledge to support the First and Second Amendments.
It is illegal to pay people to register to vote.

"Musk was not in the courtroom as the hearing got underway at 10 a.m. Eastern Time," Reuters noted. "Musk, the world's richest person, could face a fine if Judge Angelo Foglietta holds him in contempt of court."
On Wednesday, attorneys for Musk sought to have the case moved to federal court.
