A Catholic priest at the National Pro-Life Summit in Washington, D.C., appeared to imitate tech billionaire Elon Musk's gesture during the presidential inauguration, which drew wide comparisons to a Nazi salute.
In a video posted to social media by Right Wing Watch, Father Calvin Robinson finished his remarks by saying, "My heart goes out to you," and giving the salute with a wry smile as the crowd went wild.
The priest posted the clip to his X account, writing, "Make America Pro-Life Again."
At least one social media poster said the good Father was merely trolling liberals with his one-armed salute.
Still others brought up the history of the Catholic Church supporting the Nazis in the 1930s and 40s.
"Christian fascism is nothing new. Christian Tech Fascism is!" wrote user @ernestoport.
"The Catholic Church was complicit then and now," @votedems24 wrote.

Another wrote, "They think it’s a joke doing the Nazi. Shameful, this is a complete spit in the face of God and push alt right propaganda onto its people. Man, who supposed to be man of faith did a salute. This not a dam joke."
@patriotprx posted, "Bravo! You and @elon are both gems."
"Notice how even this guy's Sieg Heil was noticeably less aggressive than Elon's. You have to soften it to make it look remotely 'heartfelt," @doodelay posted.
Fr. Robinson is a Catholic priest in the Nordic Catholic Church. He describes himself as an "Evangelical Catholic" and an "Old Catholic with Anglican patrimony".
The 2025 National Pro-Life Summit featured right-wing speakers such as Fox News' Kayleigh McEnany and Turning Point USA's Charlie Kirk.
