Erin Perrine, a former communications director for Donald Trump, criticized the former president for being unable to ban kneeling in the NFL and failing to remove Whoopi Goldberg from TV.
During an appearance on Fox Business, Perrine explained why she had decided to lead a super PAC supporting Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) for president in 2024.
"All these buckets the woke left want to demand fidelity to – other Republicans pay lip service to taking on those fights," Perrine told host Stuart Varney.
"Well, Trump will take on anybody," Varney asserted.
Perrine criticized Trump for losing cultural battles.
"But he doesn't win those fights!" Perrine replied. "Think about the NFL. People are still kneeling. He picks a fight with Whoopi Goldberg. She's still on The View. He picks a fight with Chuck Todd; he's still got a show."
"Show me the big fight!" she added. "He's not going to take on Goldman Sachs or Disney. He's not going to take on anybody, not these hard fights, not the way that Ron DeSantis does."
