A 22-year-old Bavarian politician from the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party was arrested on Monday in connection with incitement and the use of symbols illegal under German law. Daniel Halemba, who recently became the youngest politician to be elected to the Bavarian state parliament, was apprehended after a warrant was issued for his arrest five days ago, a spokesman for the Würzburg public prosecutor's office told dpa on Monday.
