Fox News scorched with criticism for cutting away from damning Senate impeachment arguments

On Wednesday, the impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump continued with chilling footage from the House impeachment managers, showing Trump supporters storming the Capitol, screaming for the blood of Democratic lawmakers and former Vice President Mike Pence, and brutally assaulting police officers trying to hold them off.

Although CNN and MSNBC aired all of the footage live, however, Fox News opted to cut away midway through the trial and resume normal programming.

This decision was not lost on a number of commenters on social media, who noted the absence of Senate floor coverage from Fox, and demanded to know why they were not showing incriminating evidence to the American people.
