President Donald Trump held a rally in Nevada on Saturday, and one of his comments was highlighted and ridiculed on social media.
Trump over the weekend held his first rally following the inauguration, speaking in Las Vegas. Although a big component of his speech was his "no taxes on tips" campaign pledge, he also spoke about political correctness.
"You used to be able to say a young beautiful waitress. This was a young beautiful waitress but I will not say that because I want to continue my political career. If you call a woman beautiful today, it is the end of your political career so I will not do it," Trump said Saturday. "I think you can call her young. You are probably not even supposed to say young. You are probably supposed to say a waitress."

The comment is a variation of something similar Trump has said before, but notable observers thought Trump mentioning how the purported server was "young" warranted a mention.
Actress and writer Heather Thomas simply said, "Freudian avalanche."
OBGYN Geffrey Klein said, "I can’t say it but I’m gonna say it to tell you I can’t say it and what a shame it is that I can’t say what I just said."
Online political commentator Dog House Show chimed in, "This is the same man that was found liable for far worse and he was elected to President."
Popular Trump "resistance" activist The Resistor Sister said, "Let me demonstrate how completely out of touch I am."
Marcus Simmons, a retired supportive services coordinator and adviser at Itawamba Community College - Tupelo campus, said, "He is a little confused and he tends to leave off part of the story. You can call a waitress beautiful... unlike Trump who would say to a waitress you are beautiful and then think he had the right to grab her by the p----."
