Disgraced ex-Rep. George Santos (R-NY) posted a video to X calling on New York City Mayor Eric Adams to resign, after his car was apparently broken into the day after Christmas.
“Do you want to know what I got for Christmas? Oh Mayor Adams, you are so good at running this city. The Christmas gift I got is — it’s a first for me. I’ve never thought I’d experience this in my life, but I guess we’re back to New York City in the ‘70s,” said Santos, pointing to his "brand new" white SUV, which had one of its windows smashed out.
“This city only cares to f--k over Americans and take our taxpayer dollars and shove it in the asses of these migrants while the city is dangerous,” Santos continued. “What are you doing Mayor Adams? You should f--king resign you piece of s--t. You were a cop — you should know better. You should know how to run the city but no, you’re a f--king inept a-----e.”
Santos, who was elected to Congress in 2022, was immediately fighting for his political life against allegations that he fabricated almost his entire campaign biography and misused campaign money.
He was later indicted for fraud surrounding his campaign activities, and after a blistering ethics report, became the sixth U.S. representative to be expelled from the House. Recent reports indicate he is in talks for a plea deal with federal prosecutors.
Since being removed from office, Santos has taken up paid gigs with Cameo for a living, and some lawmakers have hired him for interesting stunts.
