A lawyer who was installed by Donald Trump is facing pushback from her own fans.
Trump nominee and lawyer Harmeet Dhillon was hit with severe criticism after she promoted a social media post.
It began when conservative activist Scott Presler said, "Here’s how it works: Let’s say that Shukran is a registered voter in Minnesota. It’s Election Day & Shukran brings 8 friends w/ him to vote. Shukran: 'My 8 friends that live in our neighborhood don’t have IDs.' Election Day Worker: 'Sign this form to vouch for them.' +8 votes."
Harmeet K. Dhillon shared that and wrote simply, "This is corrupt AF."
But citizens who follow Dhillon weren't satisfied with that.
Reagan Administration alum Hal Furman answered her: "It’s a shame you aren’t in a position to do something about it."
Dhillon replied, "It’s a shame you are blocked."
Another user responded to that interaction with, "I don't think blocking people for expressing their frustration that nothing ever seems to be done is the way to go. It kind of makes it look like the people in power don't intend to do anything but farm engagement."
Yet another user, Pocket Battleship, asked, "Aren't you an attorney for the US Govt? Commenting with your civilian X account. Saw Lee Zeldin post a response to a major Govt issue this way too. What part of the movie are we entering now."
Dhillon responded, saying, "I can comment as a citizen. This is America. For news updates on my government job, follow my official account."
"Trumpworld's favorite writer" Joshua Lisec said, "All due respect: What are you going to do about it?"
"Trump voters have become accustomed to members of the admin going 'WOW this is AWFUL and someone should DO something.' You are the someones (!)."
Vice President JD Vance was hit with similar MAGA fury over the weekend for a perceived lack of administration action.
