CBS Morning hosts Vladimir Duthiers, Adriana Diaz, and Nate Burleson took jabs at President Donald Trump after he was caught on camera cheating at golf.
"President Trump has been hitting the links at his golf courses in Scotland while negotiating trade deals," Duthiers explained on Monday. "The cameras have been following his every move, of course, even capturing the moment that Trump's caddy may have been a little too helpful."
The host presented a video of Trump's caddy breaking the rules by slyly dropping a ball after the president hit one into the rough.
"Keep your eye on his caddy," Duthiers said. "Oops, there it goes, right? ... There's a ball that goes rolling out of that dude's hand."
"What's supposed to happen?" Diaz asked.
"Well, not that," Burleson explained. "As a golfer, you are supposed to do your own drop if you can't find your ball. And it has to be close to where you're ball was."
"And you get a one-stroke penalty when that happens," Duthiers noted.
"The caddy just doing a no-look pass," Burleson joked.
"It's behind the back," Diaz agreed. "That looks a little suspicious."
"I mean, it was so, so suspicious," Duthiers said. "Look, people online have been having a field day with this. But I think it's because Trump's always talking about how great his hand is."
"How good his golf game is," Burleson remarked.
"And like, come on, bro, you can't be doing that," Duthiers added.
