Hunter Biden has ended his effort to get a new trial after his criminal conviction for buying a gun while a drug user.

The president’s son withdrew a motion seeking the re-trial Tuesday.

He was found guilty last month of three charges involving the purchase of a gun in 2018. He lied on a form that asked if he used drugs.

Biden had claimed the judge didn’t have proper jurisdiction to try the case. He still intends to appeal, despite deciding not to seek a retrial, Newsweek reported.
