'I will vote for someone else': Lauren Boebert's 'behavior' puts Colorado election at risk
Office of Rep. Lauren Boebert.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) will have a difficult time winning over some Republicans when she runs for re-election in a new district.

CBS Colorado reporter Olivia Young spoke to Republicans in the state about which candidate they would back in the primary election later this year. In addition to Boebert, Republicans Deborah Flora, Jerry Sonnenberg, Richard Holtorf, Michael Lynch and Peter Yu are also running.

Several voters told Young that they would be backing the controversial lawmaker.

"America first, and that's what Lauren Boebert stands for," Douglas County Republican voter Susan Reynolds said.

But some Republicans said they would vote for anyone but Boebert.

"I don't like her," Republican Brian Lajoie explained to Young, pointing to the lawmaker's "behavior."

"I don't think she respects the office," he added. "I don't like her politics. I don't like her attitude. I will vote for someone else."

Another Republican voter, Dianna Shoemaker, said Boebert did "crazy things" but would vote for her anyway.

"Whoever runs as the Republican will get our vote," Shoemaker explained.
