Israeli actress Gal Gadot hosted a screening at the Los Angeles Museum of Tolerance this Wednesday that showed the horrific footage recorded by Hamas terrorists as they carried out the worst terror attack in Israel's history on Oct. 7.

The announcement of the event immediately prompted anger on social media from supporters of the Palestinian movement, some of whom accused Gadot of endorsing "genocide" and being a "propagandist," and police were on the scene Wednesday night to maintain security.

The film, titled "Bearing Witness" showed "extremely graphic and violent" footage "documenting the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7th, 2023," ABC 7 reported.

Video posted to social media shows fights breaking out in the middle of an intersection outside the event.

"So anti-Israel protestors found out Gal Gadot was helping screen the video of 10/7 atrocities at the Museum of Tolerance in LA tonight," conservative commentator A.G Hamilton wrote on X. "They showed up and are now apparently attacking Israel supporters there."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, around 200 people attended the screening under heavy security. Attendees of the screening included Israel's ambassador to the United Nations and an official with the Israel Defense Forces. Hollywood executives were also in attendance.

In a post to X, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass condemned the violence.

"We cannot allow current worldwide tension to devolve into this unacceptable violence in our city," she wrote. "This is a time of immense pain and distress for thousands of Angelenos. We must stand together."
