A New York appeals court dismissed all claims against Ivanka Trump in New York Attorney General Letitia James' civil lawsuit accusing former President Donald Trump and his family of fraud, Reuters reported.

The 5-0 decision stated that state law gave James power to police alleged "repeated or persistent fraud or illegality," but that deadlines for her to sue were not extended because the defendants may have engaged in "continuing wrong."

Allegations against Ivanka Trump had exceeded the statute of limitations, so they were dismissed.

James' suit accuses Donald Trump of lying to lenders and insurers from 2011 to 2021 about his business and personal wealth.

The suit seeks at least $250 million of damages, and to stop the Trumps from doing business in New York.
