Rep. James Comer (R-KY) this week revealed that he has stopped appearing on "Fox & Friends" because he does not appreciate the scrutiny he's received from host Steve Doocy.
As The New Republic reports, Comer on Tuesday night appeared on Newsmax host Eric Bolling's show to discuss his impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden, and he revealed that Doocy's skeptical questioning had driven him away from Fox News' flagship morning program.
“I’ve quit going on Fox & Friends because of Doocy, you know?" Comer explained.
"I mean, he’s the one guy on Fox that’s been very critical of the investigation. I have my theory why, and we’ll talk about that at a later point, but at the end of the day, he’s entitled to his opinion, but I don’t think the average viewer of Fox News agrees with Doocy one bit.”

Doocy has repeatedly pointed out on Fox & Friends that House Republican investigators have yet to link any of Hunter Biden's alleged misdeeds to any activity by his father.
“They’ve connected the dots, the Department of Justice did, on Hunter, but they have not shown where Joe Biden, you know, did anything illegally," Doocy said on the network earlier this week.
