Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) had some fun at the expense of Rep. James Comer (R-KY) this week — and he did it using disgraced former Rep. George Santos.
Specifically, Moskowitz paid for a Santos Cameo video in which the New York Republican sent a special Hanukkah message to Comer that made references to business deals that Comer had made with his brother, the mention of which caused Comer to erupt in anger at a hearing earlier this year and accuse Moskowitz of looking like a "Smurf."
In the video, Santos congratulates Comer on being, "The largest landowner in your county with your brother through all your LLCs," and goes on to say that, "I think it's amazing that you share a passion for Smurfs."
Santos concludes that video by wishing that Comer overcome the "struggles" he faced this year in investigating President Joe Biden, while also wishing Comer "a very happy Hanukkah."

Moskowitz first brought up Comer's dealings with his brother that employed limited liability corporations (LLCs) to demonstrate how easy it was to make perfectly innocuous financial transactions sound nefarious by referring to the entity used as a "shell company," as Comer has repeatedly done to allege that Hunter Biden has funneled bribes to his father using similar entities.
"You look like a Smurf in here, going around in all this stuff," Comer told Moskowitz during the hearing.
