The woman accused of crashing into a golf cart and killing a new bride on her wedding day lamented that her “whole life is going to be over” as she sat in a South Carolina jail two days after the incident, The Post and Courier reported.

Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, was captured in jailhouse recordings speaking to parents and friends. She's accused of killing Hutchinson, 34, when she crashed into a golf cart the bride was riding in immediately after her wedding reception. She's accused of being drunk at the time of the crash.

“I can’t believe this is my life and my whole life is going to be over,” she said while crying. “Oh my God. I just can’t believe this happened to me. Why me? I’m going to be here for years and years and years and years.”

Her father then told her to "suck it up" and get "tough," to which she replied, “I can’t. I want it to be over," according to the report.

Komoroski has been hit with three charges of felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury or death and one count of reckless homicide.

She was reportedly going about 40 mph over the 25-mph speed limit before the crash.

Samantha's new husband, Aric Hutchinson, was seriously injured in the crash and filed a civil suit against her and the bars that allegedly "overserved" her alcohol.

“You don’t need to be sorry, Jamie, this is what happened and we’re going to take care of it,” her father told her in a phone call, according to the Courier's report. “We don’t care about what happened. We don’t care. We care only about you.”

In conversations with her boyfriend, Komoroski expressed remorse over the incident and even gave him permission to leave her.

In another conversation, she showed hope that she would get out on bond before her trial.

“There’s been people that have, like, killed people on purpose before and, like, they’ve gotten out on a bond,” she said.
