
Former Justice Department official Jeff Clark, appointed by Donald Trump, cannot delay the District of Columbia Bar from pursuing disciplinary proceedings against him.
In June, Clark asked a federal appeals court to find that the D.C. Bar lacked the authority to sanction him for making false statements in his effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
However, a panel of three judges, two of which were appointed by Trump himself, disagreed with Clark on Tuesday.

"Appellant has not shown that intervening developments warrant reconsideration of the denial of a stay pending appeal," the order said.
It was not immediately clear if Clark would appeal the ruling.
