
Donald Trump said Monday that Jesus Christ would be the only viable candidate for speaker of the House.
"There's only one person that can do it all the way," he told reporters at a rally in New Hampshire.
"Do you know who that is? Jesus Christ. If Jesus came down and said, 'I want to be speaker,' he would do it. Other than that, I haven't seen anyone that can guarantee it."

Trump's comments come after Republicans on Friday rejected Ohio GOP Rep. Jim Jordan for the speakership role after a third crushing vote against him in the House.
Now, nine Republicans are currently official candidates for the post. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer is considered the leading candidate, but he has a complicated relationship with Trump. On Monday, Trump gushed that Emmer, is 'my biggest fan,'" Insider reported.
But the former president then instructed his allies to "hammer" him, according to a report.
