Sen. Joe Manchin (R-WV) will reportedly announce that he will not seek the presidency despite being courted by centrist organization No Labels to potentially serve as their nominee.
NBC News reports that Manchin will make his announcement on Friday, which has come after months of him testing the waters for a third-party bid.
The decision is likely to be a boon to President Joe Biden, as many Democrats had expressed fears that a Manchin candidacy would siphon off centrist voters and hand the election to former Preisdent Donald Trump.
