'It's all good news': Karoline Leavitt whitewashes daily reports of Trump-era 'chaos'

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt insisted the Trump administration was only experiencing "good news" — despite daily accusations of "chaos" and tragedies like a recent plane crash.

During a Thursday interview on Real America's Voice, host Charlie Kirk asked Leavitt how she could conduct press briefings without the large binder of notes used by her predecessors.

"I decided not to bring a binder into the briefing room," Leavitt confirmed. "I felt it was better to just obtain the knowledge firsthand and have it in my brain ready to go for briefing days."

"I get in very early, especially on briefing days, and every day, consume the news of the day, what we believe I will be asked depending on the news cycle and what the cable networks are talking about," she revealed. "And then, of course, I talk to the president daily as well. I'm with him a lot of time throughout the day.

"And he's the best boss. He gives it to you straight."

Leavitt admitted that "there's a lot of news coming out of this White House every day."

"But it's all good news because the president is delivering on his priorities," she insisted. "So it's very exciting for me to go out there and share them and speak on behalf of the president of the United States."

Reality, however, does not square with Leavitt's version of events.

Trump's first 17 days in office have been marred with a tragic mid-air collision that killed over 60 people near Washington, D.C., and daily reports of "chaos" caused by DOGE chair Elon Musk, including a freeze on government funding that coincided with Medicaid portals faltering and USAID shutting down. The president has fired government watchdogs and his government was facing more than 30 major lawsuits. White House staffers were also caught off-guard by the president's sudden announcement that the U.S. would take "ownership" of the Gaza Strip.
