Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany faced heated backlash on Wednesday after she mocked President Joe Biden's affection for children.

Following a CNN town hall with Joe Biden, McEnany ended her night of tweeting by sharing a quote from the president.

"Signing off with a final notable quote from Joe Biden during his town hall this evening," she wrote, adding the Biden quote: “Everyone knows I love kids better than people."

Commenters on Twitter fired back at McEnany.

"This from the same Kayleigh who worked for Donald Trump, the guy so into teens he started a modeling agency, hung out behind the scenes at beauty pageants and lets not forget his pal Jeffrey. So whatever Kayleigh what the hell ever," one person wrote.

"I am so glad I left middle school mean girl behavior in, well, middle school," another user observed.

"Soooooo nice to have REAL Press Conferences!" a commenter responded.

"You prefer kids in cages?" McEnany was asked by another Twitter user.
