During an appearance on CNN, Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) was asked by network host Dana Bash if he would "feel comfortable" with Donald Trump back in the White House in light of the criminal investigations and recent federal indictment handed down against him.
"I would not feel comfortable with a convicted felon in the White House," Buck said.
"So we'll see how that plays out," Buck continued. "And we'll see how the evidence is presented and what the defenses are."
Buck then went on to contrast Trump's words from the 2016 campaign to his alleged actions today.
"He said that Hillary Clinton was unfit for the White House because of the way she handled classified information," Buck said. "He said she wasn't even qualified to have a low-level State Department job because of the way she handled information, so I think his words have set the standard that America will look at in determining whether he's fit for president."
Buck later clarified that he thinks Trump is "innocent until proven guilty" but will not support his candidacy if he's a "convicted felon."
