Fox News personality Laura Ingraham on Sunday condemned the Democratic National Convention's "rock concert" vibe, instead insisting the event should be about "the salient issues." Experts pointed out the host's purported hypocrisy.
Ingraham, who recently called out Donald Trump's latest campaign moves as a “loser’s strategy," took to social media over the weekend to criticize how the Democrats put on their convention.
"The 'rock concert,' 'vibey' DNC is in lieu of a convention where the main players are capable and confident enough to discuss the salient issues," she wrote. "They will entertain you, but you pay for it with lower living standards."

GOP strategist and publisher of The Bulwark Sarah Longwell, who previously showed how Trump's rise wasn't due to the will of voters, replied to the post:
"Yes, it will be in stark contrast to the very serious people the Republicans had," Longwell wrote. "Like Hulk Hogan, every member of the Trump family, and whoever Amber Rose is."
Conservative Army Iraq War Veteran Peter Henlein also weighed in.
"Laura Ingraham is complaining that the DNC will be too entertainment focused without enough discussion of serious issues. Did she make such a complaint when the RNC had a face-tattooed Onlyfans performer and Hulk Hogan as key speakers?" he asked Sunday. "Shouldn’t conservatives be more concerned about happens with the GOP than what happens with the Democratic Party?"
Dave Zirin, editor at The Nation, replied with, "Hulk Hogan really brought his policy chops."
Lisa Guerrero, an investigative journalist, said, "Kid rock and the fake wrestler guy would like a word."
Former MSNBC personality Keith Olbermann also chimed in:
"Oh Laura. Still fighting self-awareness," the ex-host said.
