MAGA influencer Laura Loomer sparred with Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) on Sunday over the Israel-Hamas war after Loomer posted on social media about one of Khanna's recent speaking engagements.

Khanna spoke on Saturday at the 45th ArabCon, a convention organized by the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in Dearborn, Michigan. Loomer said in a post on X that Khanna should either "apologize or resign" for speaking at the conference, which she said was attended by "pro-jihadists."

"Why did you speak at a pro-jihad conference in Dearborn, Michigan, where supporters of Islamic terror gathered to celebrate October 7th and promote HAMAS?" Loomer posted on X.

Khanna responded in a post on X by telling Loomer that he "called the Hamas Oct 7 terrorist attacks horrific & called for the unconditional release of hostages."

"I vehemently disagree with anyone who excuses or minimizes that. Now do you condemn Netanyahu's ongoing killing of women and children in Gaza @LauraLoomer?" Khanna posted.

Loomer argued that she doesn't think Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded forcefully enough to the attack on October 7, 2023, and that she does not feel sorry for Palestinian civilians killed by Israeli forces.

"So you believe...that it is fine to kill women and children in Gaza who are not part of Hamas' brigades and battalions?" Khanna responded.

Loomer accused Khanna of "gaslighting" to excuse terrorism.

"You are gaslighting the American people to give an excuse to Islamic terror," Loomer posted. "Yes, women and children can be terrorists. And yes, women and children in Gaza who support HAMAS are terrorists unworthy of my sympathy."
