News that Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Co.) filed to divorce her husband of nearly 20 years has fueled rumors about her love life, and the far-right congresswoman shot down one of them on Monday.

Boebert told The Daily Beast that rumors linking her romantically to right-wing recording artist and pastor Sean Feucht are untrue.

“How can I be with a man with better hair than me?” she joked.

Feucht, who is married with four children, denied the rumors too, tweeting on Friday “This is false. And it’s defamatory.”

“I’m giving everyone making this accusation 24 hours to retract and apologize. If you don’t you’ll hear from my lawyer.”

Boebert said the rumors were politically motivated by “the left.”

“I have been very, very transparent with my personal life since I started campaigning. And I think there are a lot of politicians who are not transparent,” she told The Beast.

“They just give the sweet, pretty pieces of their life — and I have been raw in the details of my upbringing and what I have been through, and the challenges my husband and I have faced over the years.”

Boebert on April 25 filed to divorce Jayson Boebert, citing “irreconcilable differences” in a statement to The Beast.

“It is with a heavy weight on my heart that I have filed for divorce from my husband,” the statement said.

“I am grateful for our years of marriage together and for our beautiful children, all of whom deserve privacy and love as we work through this process. I’ve always been faithful in my marriage, and I believe strongly in marriage, which makes this announcement that much more difficult. This is truly about irreconcilable differences.”
