Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) lashed out at House Republicans on Thursday after Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) indicated that he would not run for speaker and would instead back Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC) to fill the position temporarily.
"I will not sit back and watch a complete betrayal of the GOP base with this 'plan' that's being discussed," Boebert wrote in a social media post. "I ran because I was sick and tired of politicians coming up here and cutting deals and releasing 'holier than thou' statements about why we just had to accept it."
Boebert did not explain how she would follow through with her threat to derail the so-called "plan."
