Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) sought out Democratic opponent Lucas Kunce at the Missouri State Fair, where the two men had an argument about debates.
In a video posted to Hawley's X account on Thursday, the senator could be seen wandering the fairgrounds in search of Kunce.
"Let's go find him," Hawley said. "Where's he been? I haven't seen him. You guys seen him?"
After finding Kunce, Hawley demanded a debate on the spot, while Kunce asked the senator to agree to an event on Fox News.
"How about Fox News?" Kunce offered.
"Let's do it right now," Hawley said.
"You down on Fox News?" Kunce repeated.
"Let's debate right now," Hawley insisted.
"Can you say yes to Fox News?" Kunce asked.
