A former UFC Middleweight champion who voted for Trump in 2024 was blown away on Thursday by the chaos that the second Trump administration has created.

Sean Strickland wrote on X that Trump is "really dropping the ball" during his second term. He cited ongoing issues stemming from the war in Iran, like the sharp rise in energy prices.

Over the last week, the national average price for a gallon of gas was $3.88, according to AAA. That represents an increase of $0.29 when compared to a week ago, the data shows.

"We should call gas increase the AIPAC tax," Strickland wrote. "15 to 30 dollars extra a month doesn't sound like America first."

This is not the first time Strickland has criticized Trump. He's also bashed the president's administration for its handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and criticized Trump officials like FBI Director Kash Patel over their stance on gun rights.
