GOP Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick is in trouble with MAGA after opposing Donald Trump's megabill.
Fitzpatrick, who just yesterday called on the president to address his "serious concern regarding reports the United States is withholding critical defense material pledged to Ukraine," voted against a key procedural hurdle for the so-called "big, beautiful" bill.
"This comes as Russia launches the largest aerial assault since the war began, firing over 500 weapons at civilian targets in a single week. Ukrainian forces are not only safeguarding their homeland—they are holding the front line of freedom itself," he said in his statement of opposition. "There can be no half-measures in the defense of liberty. We must, as we always have, stand for peace through strength."
After the procedural vote, MAGA voiced its outrage online.
MAGA influencer Nick Sortor said, "UPDATE: The ONLY Republican no vote on advancing the Big Beautiful Bill was Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, who was DEADSET on making sure Ukraine gets more of our tax dollars."
"[Fitzpatrick] MUST be primaried in 2026 in Pennsylvania’s 1st District. He’s CLEARLY compromised," Sortor said.
Host Dom Giordano said, "I'm doing a national show at this moment and going after Brian Fitz."
MAGA influencer Gunther Eagleman said, "I can’t believe there’s a member of the GOP who RAN AWAY after voting against the procedural vote. All because Ukraine didn’t get enough money."
"I didn’t know dips---- like this existed. [Fitzpatrick] you are PATHETIC."
Conservative Tim Miller, who opposes Trump and MAGA, also chimed in:
"Good on Brian Fitzpatrick for this letter and opposing the BBB if these concerns aren't addressed."
"So many Republicans claim to support Ukraine while their president abandons them, nice to have at least one put his vote where his tweets are," Miller added.
