A damning series of no holds barred posts by the Lincoln Project puts the GOP party to the fire for putting the country's safety in jeopardy.
"GOP instability threatens our national security, national defense, & our allies," according to the group. "With two US allied countries in active war zones looking to America, MAGA extremists are blocking the government’s ability to carry out basic functions & provide leadership & assistance."
The PAC that established itself back in 2019 by moderate Republicans in response to the party’s burgeoning illiberal tendencies published the screed on Tuesday to their Twitter/X account.

It continued to air grievances brought on by the infighting that has stymied critical diplomacy in the Middle East, and aimed their onus at lawmakers by adding their handles.
One takes on Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
"The House still has NO speaker–House GOP is still trying to 'out MAGA' each other because they’re beholden to Trump. Key ambassador positions are waiting. We have NO confirmed ambassadors to Israel or Egypt because of political stunts pulled by MAGA senators like @tedcruz."
Another strikes at the Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville for waffling about key military posts in order to appease his suspected ultra conservative base :
"Key military positions are vacant. MAGA Senator @SenTuberville has refused to put national security over his extremist beliefs and is holding up 300 nominees for top military officials, including those who are instrumental for making military decisions," according to the post. "MAGA extremists are withholding aid to Ukraine because they don’t stand for democracy, they revere Putin."
The posts feature a nearly two-minute ad that casts a dim light on the Republican Party by paralleling its stance on Ukraine back on Sept. 30, 2023 to Sept. 30, 1938, when Czechoslovakia was forced to surrender its border regions and defenses to Hitler's Germany.
"Republicans demand that America abandon the people of Ukraine to the whims of a monstrous dictator named Vladimir Putin," booms the ad's narrator.
The video then seems to pledge support for President Joe Biden's reelection.
"Support of Russian oppression President Joe Biden has stood with the Ukrainian people in their fight against Putin upholding the ideals that America was founded on. Ideals that so many fought and died to defend."
It continues:
"The choice in 2024 is no longer between two political parties. It's between freedom and oppression. Between war and peace. The stakes have never been higher. The cost never been higher. The choice never more clear. It's us or them."
