A conservative attorney aligned with the MAGA agenda was hit with brutal reminders of his past this weekend after saying there was "no better use" of his tax dollars than capturing the leader of Venezuela.

According to the Federalist Society, Will Chamberlain serves as Senior Counsel to the Internet Accountability Project, and he's also the owner and editor-in-chief of Human Events. He is frequently seen making pro-Trump comments on his social media.

He shocked observers on Saturday when he took to X and wrote, "I can think of few better uses of my tax dollars than black-bagging the head of a foreign narco-trafficking organization that enriches itself by addicting and poisoning my fellow Americans."

The backlash was instant as users scrambled to remind the MAGA influencer that he once said the opposite.

"The Republican Party is no longer the party of regime change and endless wars," Chamberlain wrote in 2020. "If you want to be its standard-bearer that is a non-negotiable position."

Vatnik Soup, the popular account that's been "fighting online disinformation since 2022," replied to Chamberlain with his quote from 2020.

"No spine, whatsoever," they wrote along with it.

Popular political commentator ADAM also weighed in, writing, "You’re a pathetic fraud."

Civil rights litigator Patrick Jaicomo said, "Neocons through and through."

Another widely followed progressive account wrote, "This you?" along with Chamberlain's quote.

Political host Jessiah said simply, "MAGA is by far the most shamelessly hypocritical movement in American politics It’s a cult of personality with no principle whatsoever."
