Fox News contributor Marie Harf clashed with host Harris Faulkner for suggesting that President Joe Biden's administration had not responded well in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

"You know, this is a hero moment for the current administration," Faulkner said during a Fox News panel on Wednesday. "I mean, it doesn't take much as a commander in chief to command your troops, to go help your fellow Americans."

"And Marie, I don't want to single you out as like the only Democrat and all of that because you've helped people in harm's way," she told Harf. "You know, I haven't seen any airlifts. I haven't seen anything."

Harf encouraged Faulkner to look at "the numbers and the statistics."

"Thirty-eight hundred federal employees that they've already surged down before have been there since and are helping on the ground," Harf said. "The president ordered a thousand National Guard... They are surging resources. And when you hear from some of these Republican governors who say we do have what we need, we've heard from President Biden."

"Our crew got there," Faulkner interrupted.

However, Harf pointed out that Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris could not yet visit the hardest-hit regions because they would hamper recovery efforts.

"Our crew doesn't have twenty-five Secret Service trucks that have to come with them," Harf explained. "But they have the federal government down there, Harris, right now helping."

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade suggested that former President Donald Trump made a more significant impact by creating a GoFundMe page for the storm victims.

"These people need help, and they're not getting anything from FEMA," Kilmeade opined. "Even Trump has raised $3.9 million on his GoFundMe page."

"Is that for his watches?" Harf shot back, referring to Trump's latest sale aimed at his supporters. "We'll see where it goes."
