MAGA insider slams Trump Cabinet meetings: 'Just nothing but praise and how great he is'

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) argued that President Donald Trump's cabinet meetings were not helpful because they were "nothing but praise and how great he is."

In an interview this week, podcast host Tia Mitchell asked Greene if she had "evolved" on her criticisms of Trump after initially refusing to blame him for not fulfilling his campaign promises.

"So any president we know is basically a product of the silo of information they're in," Greene explained. "So that could be his team and the information that he's given."

"We know in a cabinet meeting that's in front of the press, it's nothing but lavish praise," she continued. "You don't hear them really discussing problems and problem-solving. It's just nothing but praise and how great he is."

Greene contrasted Trump's cabinet meetings with her own business philosophy.

"I only know from how I run business meetings," she said. "You have to critique yourself and the work that you're doing, acknowledge what problems exist, and come up with ideas to solve them."

"That's just my personal experience of how I handle things. But we don't see that in those cabinet meetings."
