Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said "a lot of election fraud" was to blame after Republicans failed to secure a sizable majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.
During a Tuesday interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, Greene noted that control of the House had not been determined at that time.
"As you know, these last remaining House seats and a few of the Senate seats look like there's been a lot of election fraud going on," she opined. "And I think this is a continued fight that we're going to have to have."
"This should have been a massive landslide of House seats, but we didn't," she continued. "As a matter of fact, we barely control the majority right now... I think we'll finish out with 220 seats or pretty much close to that."
"But we should have had many more House seats won."
Greene argued without evidence that Democrats were trying "to steal elections in states like California and New York, states where they do not require ID to vote."

She also complained about House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Republican leadership.
"It was the failures of this Republican-controlled House that did not motivate and energize the American people to vote for House Republicans," the lawmaker said.
