Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) suggested that billionaire DOGE administrator Elon Musk could be trusted with Americans' data because "he's the richest man in the world."
During an interview on Real America's Voice this week, host John Solomon asked Greene to react to a recent appellate court ruling that gave Musk access to sensitive private data from the Treasury and Education departments and the Office of Personnel Management.
"I think it's great, and it's absolutely necessary for Elon Musk to be able to review that data and for the DOGE team to be able to go in and dissect where the waste, fraud, abuse is happening," Greene insisted. "And this is important for every single American."
"We can trust Elon Musk — he's the richest man in the world, most successful man in the world with American companies," she continued. "He is not going to do anything wrong with anyone's information or Americans' critically important data."
"He is doing everything he can as a great patriot to save this country because we are on the verge of bankruptcy. So, I'm very happy to hear that ruling, and the court, finally we get one that makes sense."
