Matt Gaetz gave $90,000 to 12 women for a variety of listed reasons, a House Ethics Committee report into the former Florida congressman claimed on Monday.
The report followed an investigation into claims that Gaetz, "violated House Rules and other standards of conduct prohibiting prostitution, statutory rape, illicit drug use, impermissible gifts, special favors or privileges, and obstruction of Congress."
It shared 37 pages containing text messages and details of travel arrangements. It also concluded that Gaetz, who resigned from Congress last month after he was unsuccessfully picked to be President-elect Donald Trump's attorney general, paid an underage girl for sex.
NBC News Capitol Hill correspondent Ryan Nobles said the report included details of payments totaling $90,000 made to 12 women.

Exhibit three in the Gaetz report displayed a spreadsheet showing the date, time and amount of funds sent to 12 women. During most of 2017, the funds were sent through PayPal, but they switched to Venmo and CashApp in 2018.
The spreadsheets also list reasons for the funds, with thumbs up, "gift," "reimbursement," "gas and parking," "gas money," "money moves," "supplies," and one saying, "Call to discuss."
There was also a receipt for a $400 hula hoop known as the FutureHoop Pro from MoodHoops.com.
Other more obscure funds included $50 for "antiques," $400 for "laptop support," and $350 for "pub + sa premiuM." The word "premium" was used several times, including one $500 payment called "premium charge + 1/2 rent." There were also two "doctor visit" payments of $300 and $350. Woman 12 was given $785.48 for "furniture." Woman 9 was ultimately given $250 for a "baby gift!!!"
On Jan. 19 and 22, 2021, Woman 1 received two $50,000 payments for her lawyer. This amount is not included in the $90,000.
Gaetz was selected to be Trump's attorney general post but withdrew his name after the debate about the ethics report began. Gaetz told senators he was "excited" to fight for his nomination but ultimately withdrew from consideration.
