Former President Donald Trump will be joined in court on Tuesday by his two eldest sons as closing arguments at his hush-money trial are scheduled to begin.

However, there is still no sign of Melania Trump.

NewsNation's Libbey Dean reports that Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump will be in Manhattan with their father on Tuesday, as will daughter Tiffany Trump and daughter-in-law Lara Trump.

Notably absent, however, is Melania Trump, who has completely stayed away from the trial and has been almost completely absent from the campaign trail throughout the 2024 presidential race.

Trump's hush-money trial has featured a significant amount of embarrassing testimony related to the former president's relationship with his wife.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels testified that, during the period in which she had a sexual encounter with Trump, he told her that he and Melania didn't sleep in the same room.

What's more, former Trump "fixer" Michael Cohen testified that his one-time boss was totally unconcerned about Melania's reaction to news about the affair with Daniels and was only concerned about how word of the affair going public would impact his 2016 run for the presidency.

Cohen also said that Trump boldly predicted he could quickly find a new wife should Melania choose to divorce him.
