First Lady Melania Trump's jet reportedly left Washington, D.C., for New York City just 24 hours after she returned to the nation's capital after a four-week absence.
CNN reported Sunday that the first lady returned to D.C. for the first time in four weeks on Saturday to attend a dinner and reception with the nation's governors.
"She worked very hard on making sure that everything was beautiful. And she's very good at that," President Donald Trump said during remarks at the dinner.
By Sunday afternoon, according to freelancer Andrew Leyden, Melania Trump's jet was on the way back to New York City. It was not immediately clear if the first lady was onboard.
Author Michael Wolff claimed in his new book, All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America, that Melania Trump "hates" her husband. During the campaign, she made few appearances apart from attending the Republican National Convention.
"Whatever was going on — and no one had any idea what was going on, at least no more than what was plainly obvious — it had certainly not been helped by the Stormy trial," Wolff wrote. "But that seemed hardly the only thing to explain the colder and colder winter."

As the jet was bound for New York City, the president lashed out at Wolff on his Truth Social platform.
"He is FAKE NEWS, a total LOSER, and no one should waste their time or money in buying this boring and obviously fictitious book!" he wrote.
