A Fox News segment admitted this week that President Donald Trump's Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi was biased toward his agenda, which was "quite the 180" from Attorney General Merrick Garland under President Joe Biden.
During a Wednesday report, Fox News host Bill Hemmer noted that Trump's attorney, Todd Blanche, had been tapped as the Justice Department's second-highest-ranking official.
"Democrats likely to press him on his loyalty to the president," Hemmer said.
"If confirmed, Todd Blanche would run the day-to-day operations here at the Justice Department as the Deputy Attorney General, or DAG, under Attorney General Pam Bondi," Justice Department correspondent David Spunt confirmed. "He served, as you said, as the president's personal defense attorney during his major criminal cases in 2023 into 2024."
"I've heard from top DOJ officials. They are transparent about implementing the president's agenda," he continued.

"Now, this is quite a 180 from the prior DOJ under Merrick Garland, who rarely met one-on-one with President Biden and always made clear that the Justice Department was separate from the White House."
Despite that, Spunt said Blanche was likely to be confirmed.
