Former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) weighed in on the recent terrorist attacks in Israel by blaming demons and "wokeness."

Bachmann shared her thoughts on the "spiritual impact" of the attacks during a Wednesday interview on Real America's Voice.

"Well, it is, because this is demonic," the former lawmaker stated. "Because this is not human. What happened on Saturday, what's continued to happen, is not human."

"What would it take for a human being to decapitate a baby?" she continued. "And not just one, but 40. Something has to happen to your soul. And what happened is, it is a spiritual, demonic presence that has come in and taken over."

Bachmann also suggested that an alleged intelligence failure could be an effort to topple Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"Benjamin Netanyahu is saying, 'No one warned me,'" she said. "Now, the other thing that could be, we have problems with wokeness in the United States, in our government agency. It's entirely possible that perhaps the intel services in Israel also had wokeness and decided not to pass the information along."
