On Tuesday, The Daily Beast reported that MyPillow CEO and election conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell blew up at one of their reporters when he was asked why he hasn't filed his promised petition for the Supreme Court to overturn the results of the 2020 election and "reinstate" former President Donald Trump.
"As of Tuesday morning, the Supreme Court had no record of any filing," reported Zachary Petrizzo. "And reached for comment by The Daily Beast about his non-existent Supreme Court filing and why it hasn't been made public, the pillow mogul fumed. 'Are you out of your mind?' Lindell shouted. 'You call me again, I am suing you!'"
Lindell has spent months promising the Supreme Court would take up his case to overturn the election, despite having never provided any evidence for his claims that the election was stolen, and despite facing a defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems for baselessly claiming their equipment flipped votes from Trump to Biden.
For his part, Lindell — though he hasn't actually filed a case of any sort — has called the Supreme Court's lack of action on his voter fraud claims "very suspicious," and, according to the report, even tried to blame Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel.
"With a poor WiFi connection marring his live-streamed rant, Lindell blasted McDaniel, alleging she orchestrated a vast Republican conspiracy against him when she finally acknowledged late last week that President Joe Biden won the 2020 election," said the report.
