The New York Police Department said initial disciplinary action has been taken against an officer wearing pro-Trump patches while working at a protest.

"A NYPD sergeant faces internal investigation for wearing Trump-themed Punisher logos with the message 'Make Enforcement Great Again 2020' on her uniform during a Black Lives Matter protest, police sources said Saturday," the NY Daily News reported Saturday. "Images of Sgt. Dana Martillo surfaced on social media following demonstrations in Brooklyn Friday night commemorating the birthday of Trayvon Martin."

The newspaper noted the department did not name Martillo in the case, but reported her name off of her badge number.
