Omarosa Manigault Newman spoke to Entertainment Tonight ahead of the launch of a new show she's on – and, of course, she dished on Donald Trump.
"The House of Villains" is about to begin on E! Hosted by Joel McHale. The concept has gone full meta: a reality show about reality shows. Those often perceived as the villains are put together to fight between themselves.
Omarosa said that she embraced the term "villain," joking it was so critical to her brand that she trademarked it.
POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?
"I made my first alliance within the first five minutes in the house," Omarosa said of the new show, which offers a $200,000 cash prize for the one who survives.
"There was no time. I mean, this show was shot so quickly; you don’t really have time to figure out what was up, what was down. You had to get to work if you wanted to survive," she explained.
Some in the group didn't even know who she was, given her era on a reality show was so long ago. But her time with Donald Trump has made enough of an impact to influence her latest effort
"For me, I just can’t believe I fell for a con man, a con man who turned out to be the biggest fraud," she told ET. "I mean, literally found by the courts to be a big fraud, so a lot of the backdrop of our show, a lot of The Apprentice that we thought was real was fabricated, and it was just a house of cards. So, I mean, we were duped, and we were young entrepreneurs thinking that we were really gonna learn something from this brilliant businessman. All we learned was not the art of the deal but the art of the con."
Two years ago this week, Omarosa did an interview where she said that if Trump was going to run for president again he "needs to come clean about his health." To this day, neither of them has explained what that meant.
