Witnesses say the Jewish man who was knocked down and suffered a fatal injury during a pro-Israel demonstration this Sunday in Southern California was "stalked" by the pro-Palestinian protester who allegedly delivered the blow, The Jewish Journal reported.
“[The man] crossed the street because, as I said, he stalked us…he came over here with the megaphone in his hand to do the same thing,” witness Jonathan Oswaks told The Journal.
Oswaks said he warned the man to get away, prompting him to move on to 69-year-old Paul Kessler.

“Then all of a sudden, I see a punch. The reason I know I could see the punch was because it was the white megaphone flying through the air,” Oswaks claimed.
According to reports, Kessler then fell backwards and struck his head, sustaining serious injuries. He was taken to a hospital where he died a day later.
Oswaks and Kessler were participating in a counter protest in response to a pro-Palestinian protest that was being held in Thousand Oaks, California, on Sunday. The protest came in the wake of the worst terror attack in Israel's history that was carried out by Hamas on Oct. 7, which killed over 1,400 people. Israel has since responded with a bombing campaign and ground invasion designed to root out Hamas. In the process, thousands of Palestinians have been killed, although the exact casualty figures have been disputed.
