'Pinball for pinheads': CPAC's Jan. 6-themed pinball game gets shredded on social media
Matt Laslo (Raw Story)

A January-6-themed pinball machine replete with audio samples of MAGA leader Trump at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is irking some who accuse it of being tone deaf.

"J6: Insurrection: An educational documentary game" debuted at the venue and was quickly chastised by many on social media for making a mockery of when then-President Donald Trump sympathizers stormed the Capitol Building after a "Stop The Steal" rally disintegrated into a deadly riot on Jan. 6, 2021.

Five people died as a result of that day and more than 140 police officers were wounded.

Various lit-up phrases featured on the machine have players using their flippers to achieve high scores and be rewarded with “stop the steal,” “fake news,” and “political prisoners.”

At one point if the player hits a certain score, Trump's audio clips are played.

@MoonBeam2025 posted: "J6th Prison Pinball edition."

"Why would they have a pinball machine showing (checks notes) Antifa and FBI raiding the Capitol," reads a tweet by @WonderDogAbides.

And Michael Hodges succinctly knocked the conservatives sanctioning this game, posting "Pinball for pinheads."

"A January 6th pinball game. Why not? A fun time was had by all--except the dozens of law enforcement officers who were killed and injured," Larry Sabato wrote.

Citizens for Ethics (CREW), a group behind some of the challenges to Trump's potential candidacy, noted that "Even this January 6th **pinball machine** admits that January 6th was an insurrection."

"The CPAC Exhibition Hall brings you: The first January 6th: Insurrection-Pinball Machine (“an educational documentary game”). I wish I was kidding," a social media user named Andrew wrote on Thursday.

The Jan. 6-themed game was one of many unique items that was ridiculed on social media and cable news.
